Description and History of Site:-
Substantial multi-storey wool warehouse with two sets of loading doors to Alfred Street East and a single set at either end. A building plan was approved in July 1852 for this four-storey warehouse with attic erected for Mark Walsh to the designs of Charles Child, architect. The building seems to have remained in single occupancy for the bulk of its life, being occupied by W. H. Greenwood, wool and top makers in 1887, 1905 and 1936. In recent years it has been divided and is now occupied by a variety of small businesses.
