Description and History of Site:-
Unusual footbridge over disused section of the former Grassington branch line. The asymmetrical shape is due to the land falling away to one side of the line.
The branch opened for passenger traffic in July 1902. The section from Swinden Quarry (qv) to Grassington & Threshfield station closed in 1969.
