Description and History of Site:-
Incredibly ugly red brick building with square tower. Some decorative terracotta on pseudo Dutch Gable. Apparently disused. (Hatcher, 1974) Opened 11th May 1891. The building featured a central swimming pool which was filled with seawater from an inlet offshore close to the pier. Other facilities included massages, private brine, douche, and electric baths. Demolished July 1976.
