Filey Railway Station

Description and History of Site:-
In 1973 Hatcher noted :- Not one of Andrews's most imposing seaside stations but quite pleasant. Central entrance with heavily rusticated stone quoins and large imposts. 2 doors ad 1 window on left 3 sash windows on right of main entrance. Plain stone cornice blinding to front facade with quoins as before and continuous sills. On the York to Scarborough branch of the York and North Midland Railway. Closed to goods traffic in 1964.
