Description and History of Site:-
Block onto street is virtually all of brewery still remaining. More pilasters and corbelling. A brewery on this site can be traced back to 1767. In 1894 it was being operated by Messrs. Clark, Rose & Co. Eventually operated by Tetley's, the last beer was brewed here in 1969 and was used for some years as a Tetley's depot. Now (2017) a mixed residential and commercial development.
