Hovingham Railway Station

Description and History of Site:-
Station house, now a private house. Two associated goods sheds also converted to residences. Opened by the York, Newcastle and Berwick railway in June 1853 as simply 'Hovingham', the station was renamed 'Hovingham Spa' two years later. Closed to passengers January 1931, closed completely August 1964.
