Description and History of Site:-
It shows now as a single quarry hole and any signs of former millstone workings have long since been obliterated by later quarrying. It used to lie within Addingham parish and may have been connected with the major millstone workings on the northern edge of the Moor at Millstone Lumps. Millstone production at Doubler Stones remains conjectural.
