Description and History of Site:-
Remnants of an early York Corporation depot, including an ambulance station (most probably from the 1940's). Not shown on the OS mapping of 1851, but extant by 1889 and into the 1970's on the OS mapping. Now occupied by Travis Perkins, builders merchants.
