Description and History of Site:-
The whole area at the major break of slope on he southern side of Little Ingleborough has been heavily worked for stone and the presence of one part-worked millstone roughout shows that millstones, as well as other types of stone product, were sourced here. The ground here is a mix of small delphs and piles of debris.
There is one early-stage roughout, propped on one side by an earthfast boulder - diameter 1.3-1.4m, thickness 250-300mm.
