Levisham Railway Station

Description and History of Site:-
Levisham Station. Late C18 farmhouse converted to station house and ticket office following the introduction of steam on the Whitby and Pickering Railway between 1845-47. Now a dwelling.

On the 20th September 1973 Hatcher noted:- Stone small scale two railway cottages in stone.
