Shaw High Mill

Description and History of Site:-
Mill complex including cottages. Ruinous mill building to the north probably older.

The newer parts probably built 1804 as a flax mill by the Strutt family and leased to John & James Shutt. 1817 for sale. Later taken by Atkinsons from Low Mill. In 1973 in use as a suede manufactory.
