Eggborough Maltings

Description and History of Site:-
In 1974 Jane Hatcher noted: Large maltings (and warehouse) between Aire & Calder Canal and Whitley Bridge Station. Warehouse orientated towards canal. Doesn't look very old, and has corrugated asbestos sheeting roofs.
Derelict in 1974. Buildings subsequently demolished and site redeveloped as the Maltings Industrial Estate. Had been maltings owned by Associated British Maltsters (Northern) Ltd.
