Cattal Maltings

Description and History of Site:-
Near railway line. 3 storeys brick and slate. Plain kilns at the end. (Hatcher 1973). The Maltings had gone out of use by 1986 when planning permission for demolition of the buildings was refused. By the 1990's the site appears to have been redeveloped (and the Maltkiln itself presumably demolished) as a residential site.
