Pocklington Canal Warehouse

Description and History of Site:-
Hatcher Noted - Three storeys plain. Built on edge of canal long thick building. Flat brick arches to squat windows. Remains of chimney and scars of machinery. Had three small extensions on landward side. Three storey brick and pantile. Probably built c1820 by Thomas Johnson of Pocklington. Derelict in the 1970s, now (2016) refurbished and in private occupation.
