Keyingham New Mill

Description and History of Site:-
One of two tower mills in Keyingham. Shown as Keyingham New Mill on the 1850 OS map but as disused in 1910.

5 storey brick tower. Roofless. Windows on two sides square under flat brick arches. Doorways on ground floor and on 1st has been balcony between ground and first floor. Brickwork has been pitched. Now part of house, alterations in 1980 included re- roofing and re-flooring. Brickwork in now colour-washed, and with a new plain tile roof. Formerly known as New Mill, it ceased operation c1900.
