Thompson's Hygeian Flour Mill

Description and History of Site:-
Brick 5 storeys and loft. Several buildings in similar style. On ground floor semi-circular openings (one wider for goods entrance) and similar arches forming bays between pilasters on 4th floor. White stone thin course making line delineating shapes of arches also slight arcs above lintels to windows. The windows are vertical rectangles under flat arches top part pivoting open. 'White and red' effect of stone and brick to arches. Was being demolished in 1974.
