Bridlington Gas Works

Description and History of Site:-
Two early gasholders, extant in the 1970's but subsequently demolished. These were of the early 'telescopic' type rather than the later 'spiral' design. The site of the old gasworks, including the location of the gasholders, is now a large car park.
