Description and History of Site:-
The wooden beams of the three span footbridge built at Scoberry in 1881 were replaced by laminated timber beams in 1971. The spans range from 9.3m to 10.9m and the beams are supported on wrought iron trestles. The laminated timber beams were replaced in 2005 by twin 406 x 178 (74 kg/m) UBs at 470mm centres with the wrought iron trestles encased in masonry; hardwood decking and handrails completed the work
