Bridge End Cottages, Settle

This is a single row of former back-to-back cottages for workers at the adjacent Bridge End (cotton) Mill. It has 3 storeys and originally probably 12 bays but it is not known if each dwelling encompassed all three floors. It was, in modern times, converted into housing with the back-to-back element taken out.

It is probable that the cottages were built at or after conversion of the mill to textile spinning in 1785.
