Brookfoot Lock House

Caption :- Calder and Hebble Navigation, lock-keeper's or lengthsman's cottage facing Brookfoot Lock at the eastern end of Freeman's Cut, created between Elland and Brookfoot via Park Nook during 1824. Single storey with three bays, hipped stone slate roof and canted bay with central doorway. Recently restored. The disused river lock which formerly provided access to Tag Cut lies close by. Photo July 2017.
