Monk Bridge

Description and History of Site:-
Lattice iron girder bridge carrying Whitehall Road over the River Aire and the Leeds and Liverpool Canal built in 1886. In two sections, to the NE crossing the River Aire, to the SW crossing the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. Decorative ironwork including the Leeds coat of arms.
