Wharf House

Description and History of Site:-
3 storey house with basement Originally known as Causey House, work on construction commenced during May 1779 with final accounts for work being received during October 1780. Originally the building was used by the Agent to the Navigation Company, with part of the premises set aside for a meeting room used by its committee; in consequence the building was finished to a high standard. The premises are now used as commercial office space.
