Bardsey Corn Watermill

Description and History of Site:-
Fairly small plain stone mill. 3 storeys entrance at mid level. Waterwheel chamber below lowest level no machinery except two large stones set in ground nearby. Reputedly belonged originally to monks of Kirkstall Abbey. Small building tacked on at side for drying corn. Square masonry. (Hatcher, 1973). Extant on a manorial survey of 1735. Now a private house.
