Hawks Clough Bridge

Description and History of Site:-
A stone bridge of one arch, crossing the River Calder. Now (2022) pedestrian only. Thought to be over 250 years old, the bridge was built to serve Hawksclough Manor, now Hawksclough Farm. The house was extended in 1735 and the bridge may have been built at the same time. It is privately owned. (Andrew Robinson, September 2016).
