Hunslet Engine Company Jack Lane Works Offices

Description and History of Site:-
Jack Lane Works Hunslet Engine Co Ltd. Offices of 1864. Part of the site includes the 1858 Boyne works of Manning Wardle their gateposts still preserved (listed grade11).
New erecting shop built 1990s by Hunslet Transportation Projects to build class 323 electric multiple units occupied by Schneider Electric (2018) A history of the site may be found at: http://www.leedsengine.info/leeds/histhe.asp
