Description and History of Site:-
Pre-industrial textile workshops reputedly connected to Thomas Burnley, woollen cloth merchant and manufacturer, of Gomersal Mills. Oldest part (northern facade, rear of square) suggests an 18th-c date, but the front bears datestones of 1836 and 1846. It may have been housing with loom-shops above. Now converted to housing.
