Description and History of Site:-
Hattersley Brothers moved from Sheffield and took over the White Lees foundry of George Shaw, in Swinton, in 1869. T&C Hattersley were noted for the production of domestic ranges. Only the front range survives, converted to offices as the "Hattersley Building".
