Corporation Bridge

Description and History of Site:-
An electrically operated Scherzer rolling-lift bascule road bridge. Designed by Alfred C Gardner, Docks Engineer to London and North Eastern Railway and built by Sir William Arrol & Co of Glasgow, for Grimsby Corporation in 1925 and restored in about 1980.
