Description and History of Site:-
Early cotton spinning mill now a row of cottages.The mill and contents were insured for £600 in 1795 The firm of Craven, Brigg & Shackleton of Walk Mill in Keighley built Brow End Mill in the hamlet of Goose Eye in 1791 on land belonging to Thomas Brigg. It might have been run by Thomas Broughton in 1795, but was converted to worsted spinning in 1805 by William Rouse from Bradford.
