Description and History of Site:-
Workshop and showroom with an imposing early twentieth century façade fronting Horton Street which features a large semi-circular first floor window. Designed by Thomas Lister Patchett for Messrs. J.E. and H.B. Holdsworth and erected in 1913, it was soon occupied by W.L. Pawson & Son, manufacturers of ladies' gowns and dresses, who remained there until the closure of the company during the 1970s. Thereafter it has served as a furniture sale room, and is presently the home of Cycle Gear.
