19-23 Horton Street, Halifax

Caption :- Site of the offices and warehouse in Horton Street, Halifax, of former cork importers and cork product manufacturers, Robinson Brothers. The site originally comprised four wool warehouses erected in 1872 to the designs of W.H.D. Horsfall for Frederick Whitaker, woolstapler, and a temperance hotel on the corner occupied by Ralph Bowers. An office block dating from the 1980s now stands on the site, occupied by Calderdale MBC Customer First Office. Photo. April 2017.
