Sowerby Bridge Wharf, Warehouse with wet dock (No. 4)

Caption :- The Calder and Hebble Navigation, Low or Corn Warehouse with wet dock, completed in 1789. Company records indicate that this warehouse was raised in height during 1824, a fact supported by the present appearance of the stonework . The grade II* listing is merited by the quality and rarity of its intact wet dock which continues in daily use by Shire Cruisers for repair work on modern canal boats. Photo. June 2016.
