Description and History of Site:-
On Reva Hill a low ridge (up to 4m above the surrounding surface) composed of glacial till has been extensively worked in a series of boulder pits to extract limestone cobbles to be converted into lime, though no obvious kiln sites have been identified on the ground. Its history is not known but the pits are marked on OS First Edition mapping.
