Leeds and Liverpool Canal Office

Description and History of Site:-
Ashlar, low-pitched hipped slate roof with central corniced ridge stack extended in brick. One storey over basement, central wide panelled door in plain surround with deep cornice hood and carved lettering: 'CANAL OFFICE'. Built in 1816 as offices, and lock-keeper's house for the Leeds and Liverpool Canal Company.
