Leeds Warehouse

Description and History of Site:-
Red brick, slate roof, gable copings, hoist above eaves. Six storeys to The Calls frontage, 7 to the river. First-floor openings arranged symmetrically on each side of a centre line, loading doors flanked by 3 small segmental-arched windows. C20 ground-floor openings and window frames. To the river facade, basement entrances with wide segmental arches, stone voussoirs and keystone. Appears on maps as early as 1846 but not named, probably built somewhat earlier. Originally mill and warehouse, now flats, offices and public house. Converted in 1994.
