Scarcroft Toll Bar

Description and History of Site:-
In 1972 Jane Hatcher noted: Gothic windows blocked. Cut off corner plan. Post adjacent for turnpike. A toll bar on the former Collingham Turnpike c1826, part of the Leeds-Wetherby Turnpike.
