Newhouse Coal Road

Description and History of Site:-
This is a sinuous, engineered cart track that runs through inbye fields as a walled lane as far as Sell Gill and thenceforward is seen as a 2m-wide holloway across the moor eventually heading towards the former coal workings on Pen-y-ghent. No details of its beginnings or end have been found.
