S&DR Booking Office

Description and History of Site:-
S&DR Booking Office. Built for the Stockton and Darlington Railway Company. This brick building resembling a toll house dates from the earliest years of the railway. Nearby is a building of 1826 which was formerly the Railway Tavern and is now numbers 52 and 54 Bridge Road.
