Description and History of Site:-
Scattered across this part of the moor are remains of small-scale stone working of local sandstone and gritstone, seen now as discard piles of unsuitable stone, at least one identifiable dressing floor, one stone-getters' stone-built beehive shelter, and stacks of stone ready for dispatch but abandonded. No explicit historical material has been found and it is ground evidence that points to its past existence.
